So I ate 8 slices of pizza

I was sitting at a meeting for a youth group I am involved in. Meeting is going great. We've got a lot of things planned out for a weekend next May 2010, anyhow we're discussing events that will be going on and I am getting hungrier and hungrier until we get the phone call...

Three pizzas ready for me to devour! THREEE SUCKAZZZZZ!!!! Cheese (so so greasy), Green Pepper and Onion (greasy), and Extra Pepperoni (VERY GREASY!!!)...And I took down 5 of the Roni's and 3 of the green peppers...I loved ever minute of it. Let me put it to you this way, they just know how to make thin crust pizza!!!!

It's a greasy thin crust pizza that is chewy and tasty and very greasy! The cheeses, the sauce and the dough are just that good. One of my favorite combinations is to get barbecue chicken as well as feta cheese and black olives...i mean it's greasy, plan and simple...greasy!

Moral: Extra grease at any point of the day is always the high point of the day...

Just a rant

Things feel tight. Body is aching from a mixture of working out excessively, not sleeping enough and wearing down my brain. I sit there some nights at my desk at work glaring at my hands, but not seeing them. Vision gets blurry, because I am not focusing on anything, no condition, but thank you for thinking of my health...

I enjoy working hard. A sense of accomplishment runs over me. I get things done and I get acknowledged for them. Good work emails, a thank you, a shoulder pat, a coffee from a friend, an invite to get greasy down the jersey shore...you know, normal things that are within the ordinary...

Sitting here enjoying a tall Americano (two shots of expresso with smoldering hot water) I stare at the horizon which includes a Starbucks sign, a nail solon sign and a building that is of course poorly placed. Don't people know that the view of the dirty water would have been way better had this building not been sitting right there...

Moral: guess they don't...

This one's for those Lakers

Congratulations, Kobe! You won a championship without Shaq! WOOHOO...Congratulations lakers fans. It's been a long time coming that you have gone without a championship with such good teams. I recall last year when the Celtics performed the same feat. It was glorious. Game 6 Paul Pretty and crew went off on a rampage and blew out some team 131 to 91...

Wait, was that the lakers? OHHHH SNAPPPP SON! And don't give me that - "oh where were the celtics this year" shit - Garnett undisclosed knee issue (which means serious), Powe (ripped his knee off for a third time and played 10 minutes on it before being pulled out!), RayRay hurt, Scal was frizzled with a concussion, Rondo abused on the court, i mean the list goes on and on...

yeah we didn't get past the magic, so how would we have done against the cavs had we passed the magic, well KG unit would have been back so that should answer that; the celts were by far the best team in the league with KG, easily, don't argue with me. But, that's not the story, and the lakers are world champs now. Realistically, how satisfying was are you lakers fans winning without going through the green, I know Kobe isn't, yeah he won without shaq and being the best player on his team but he is no where near satisfied by this victory...that would have been like the sox winning the world series without coming back down 3 games against the yanks...

Moral: David stern has been quoted as saying if he can have a lakers vs lakers final he would - fuckin leagues still biased

Good humor?

Yeah real fucking funny. After smoking a couple cigars and watching Scarface all I wanted to was eat some grub and enjoy a desert. So we head on over to Dzl's place and bam, Chinese food waiting for us there!!!! Waiting! I loved it! General Gao's and beef fried rice and shrimp noodles and duck sauce!!!

Devoured; absolutely positively devoured without hesitation! I sat back and thought to myself what in the world does the fat mess known as sarvosh want to absorb now? What would be the ideal topping to this already relaxing day? You'll scream when you hear it...because I scream when I say it....IIICCCEEEEE CCCCRREEEEAAAAMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!

That's right sucka! THAT'S FUCKIN RIGHT! Ice cream!!! So I jumped off the couch and headed right over to the freezer itching for some chocolate ice cream and BAM! Good humor chocolate covered vanilla and chocolate covered chocolate Popsicles!!!! I'm all over it! Open the box and see it's full; can't wait. Only problem is that all the fucking sticks are packaged the same way...so I grabbed one, opened it up, vanilla (fucker)...figured with probability in my favor I would grab another (fucker) vanilla again...

Moral: Good humor...yeah it's good alright, fucking with people who want one type of stick and they keep getting the other; real fucking funny assholes!

"All I got in this world are my balls, and my word...

And I don't break them for nobody!" I love it! Scarface is a classic. Absolute classic. First time I watched it was back in the senior year of high school when I was writing about this film for my senior humanities thesis. This film and DePalma's Carrie were my two films that I wrote about (looking back I should have used Carlito's Way).

I watched this film easily thirty times. Thirty; no question! And each and every time I watch it I enjoy it more and more. From the bad Cuban accent to the 80's tracks (oh yeah I own the soundtrack to this too), you can't not love this film. The cinematography is fantastic. Camera angles, lighting, even music which helps telegraphs events before they happen.

The film by no means is Pacino's best work; which he admits actually. But, it is very enjoyable. The story moves along smoothly. Everything is explained. You aren't left wondering what happened. There is closure. AND, to top it off, they smoke many many cigars. In fact, one of the most famous cigar photos of all time is Tony sitting in his embroidered chair, lighting up...

Moral: If you haven't seen the film cause you've been living in a bubble...watch it...
